Tayong Dalawa Press Con and Fans Day

The successful ABS CBN Primetime Soap "Tayong Dalawa" is about to end and soap stars Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Jake Cuenca and Coco Martin won't pass the opportunity to thank all their supporters and fans in Cebu.

Before greeting their Cebuano Fans, the press had the chance to get to know Kim, Gerald, Jake and Coco more through a press conference which was held at Castle Peak Hotel.

Gerald portrayed his dream role on "Tayong Dalawa" since he had always wanted to serve his country as a soldier. Kim also cleared it out that she is single and is afraid to pierce into a relationship for now and focus more on her career. Rumors of Jake Cuenca importuning Kim Chiu is not true and both are great friends off and on camera. Coco Martin, after a traumatic accident on set of "Tayong Dalawa" is here in Cebu to grace his Cebuano Fans and is now well and okay! Coco also added that he is open to the idea of doing another Indie Film as long as it has a good story and content. Coco is grateful and owed to his indie film roles that he had received so many awards here in the Philippines and in other countries.

After the Press con, Kim, Gerald, Jake and Coco, headed their way to meet their fans at SM City Cebu where around 1,000 fans shrieked and screamed for the soap stars arrival.

Coco, with Jake and Gerald, gave roses to their fans as a token of their gratitude for their undying support.

Kim Chiu who spoke in our dialect had made Cebuanos proud of what she had achieve as a young actress. "Naniudto na ba Mo?" asked Kim Chiu to Fans who had continuously shouted and screamed their answers to every question that she throws at them.

Gerald sang for his fans and even went down to shake hands with his fans.

Jake Cuenca who also did a song number, threw his shirt to the audience.

Lucky Fans also had a chance to play with their favorite stars Jake, Gerald and Coco in a game of " Newspaper Dance."

Kimmy Dora Press Con!

August 23, 2009. Spring Films' incipient film "Kimmy Dora: Kambal Sa Kiyeme" had a press conference at Castle Peak Hotel Mabolo Cebu City. "Kimmy Dora: Kambal Sa Kiyeme" stars the 38 year old and naturally funny Ms. Eugene Domingo, the newest goddess of comedy.

Bb. Joyce Bernal's first choice to play Kimmy Dora was for real Ms. Eugene Domingo. Talented as Eugene is, both Director Joyce Bernal and Producer Piolo Pascual were confident that Eugene Domingo can pull it off both as Kimmy & Dora!

Direk Joyce Bernal also shared to the press how hands on and dedicated Piolo Pascual is about this project as a producer. Eugene being close to both Ms. Bernal and Mr. Pascual is doing her best to portray the characters and Eugene is very thankful to both the producer and director for the big break!

Eugene Domingo also admitted that she does not act like a Diva because she knows that eveyone on the production team are doing their hardest and it's such a waste of time if you you'd act like a diva. Life's short so be happy and free.

"What is your favorite food?" That was my question for Ms. Eugene Domingo. She loves Dimsum! weee. Now typing that made me crave for some Spring Rolls and Mushroom Siomai! hehe

Piolo Pascual, the super producer, shares the same love for Nilagang Baka with "Kimmy/Dora" Eugene. Piolo Pascual was happy with the outcome of the project and has no regrets with the casting for Kimmy Dora!

Jed Madela: The Voice Press Con

August 14, 2009. After dropping the iLearners Inc. Papers at Atty. Ethelbert's Office, Edd, Greg and I were in a hurry to Pino Restaurant Lahug, battling the heavy traffic that day, for Jed Medela's Press Con to cover for CBS(Doyzkie) and ABS CBN(Greg).

When Jed arrived at Pino, Kara had interviewed him for ABS CBN News. The Prescon then started and the usual question and answer drill commenced.

Cebu is Jed Medela's choice to do his first ever solo concert because Cebu had applauded and praised him during the Diva Concert which he guested and performed and considering that Cebu has impeccable taste in music, it would be a good training ground for him to better and improve his skills as a singing artist.

He also mentioned that he wants to focus on singing first and not venture in acting just yet, because he wants to perfect his acting skills before he goes acting.

Jed is from Iloilo and and draws inspiration from his family, God and his Fans. His favorite artist was the late Luther Vandross because he was a great performer yet he does not care what he looks like and was just a very cool person.

Jed stays authentic and down to earth by surrounding himself with good people and friends.

Lovelife? He wants to focus on his career first.

And Yeah, my question to Jed was what's his favorite food. He said he loves chicken! Chicken Skin and any chicken dish. And he even eats at Larsians! He said he never misses to eat there when he is in Cebu. : )
