KWK iLearners Edition!

August 22, 2009. It was our scheduled taping for ABS CBN's Kapamilya Winner Ka! iLearners' Special Edition. 41 iLearners volunteered to play to raise funds for the fight against rural illiteracy! And to all ur friends who cheered and went to the studio to support iLearners, thank you so much!

iLearners Inc. Incorporators' Night

August 09, 2009. Incorporators of iLearners Inc. has made it official and legal. The signing of papers took place at Jacobo's Bistro Asiatown IT Park, Lahug Cebu City. Chai, Jhade, Doyzkie, Edd, Shake, X, Nike, Atty. Etherbert and Greg were there for the signing of the iLearners Inc. Papers.

iLearners Inc. Mission Vission

Mission:

ilearners Inc. mission is to generate and distribute resources that will support, enrich and enhance education opportunities for all students in the rural areas and encourage teachers to implement innovative educational programs. The iLearners’ Incorporators and Board of Trustees recognize that this is best accomplished by a combined commitment and collaboration with the rural school district, the rural school board, volunteers and other organizations in the community.

ilearners are dedicated to supporting, enriching and enhancing the learning experience of all students in the rural areas, where illiteracy is of a great number,investing its resources in education and youth, eliminating illiteracy one at a time.

iLearners Inc. started as an outreach activity among friends in December 2007 and now we are continuing the fight against rural illiteracy one at a time.

Our first adopted School is Lunas Elementary School in Carcar, which was about to close because of loosing enrolees due to poverty. We helped them by giving school supplies and building a mini library/refernce center(encyclopedias, books, etc.). And with that the number of students, which was from 45(Grades 1-4) last December 2007 when we first adopted the school, now has 80 students! Now we will be adopting another school in the rural area to give hope to students to have a good education.
