August 14, 2009. After dropping the iLearners Inc. Papers at Atty. Ethelbert's Office, Edd, Greg and I were in a hurry to Pino Restaurant Lahug, battling the heavy traffic that day, for Jed Medela's Press Con to cover for CBS(Doyzkie) and ABS CBN(Greg).
When Jed arrived at Pino, Kara had interviewed him for ABS CBN News. The Prescon then started and the usual question and answer drill commenced.
Cebu is Jed Medela's choice to do his first ever solo concert because Cebu had applauded and praised him during the Diva Concert which he guested and performed and considering that Cebu has impeccable taste in music, it would be a good training ground for him to better and improve his skills as a singing artist.
He also mentioned that he wants to focus on singing first and not venture in acting just yet, because he wants to perfect his acting skills before he goes acting.
Jed is from Iloilo and and draws inspiration from his family, God and his Fans. His favorite artist was the late Luther Vandross because he was a great performer yet he does not care what he looks like and was just a very cool person.
Jed stays authentic and down to earth by surrounding himself with good people and friends.
Lovelife? He wants to focus on his career first.
And Yeah, my question to Jed was what's his favorite food. He said he loves chicken! Chicken Skin and any chicken dish. And he even eats at Larsians! He said he never misses to eat there when he is in Cebu. : )
