Libera:Angel Voices Live in Cebu

Libera is a group of young and talented boys aged 7-16 years old. At their young age, they have garnered millions of fans around the world touring USA, Japan, South Korea and The Philippines. They also performed at a Papal MAss at the climax of Pope Benedict XVI's first visit to the USA infront of 60,000 people at the New York Yankee Stadium.

These young guys, which came from different schools and different backgrounds, had already appeared on television shows several times and whose music topped mainstream and classical charts and packed concert halls appearing in their flowing white robes.

Libera who had a concert last October 28, 2009 at the Waterfront Hotel Ballroom in Lahug had a fantastic standing ovation after their Finale performance of "Bayan Ko!"

Satine Eclipse: Dark Fantasy Photo Exhibit

A Photo Exhibit, organized by Cane Events, that features ACRE International and JPNY Couture Dark Creations worn by ABS CBN Stars and models are photographed by Cebu's most celebrated photography club CDP or Cebu Digital Photographers. Excellent Make up by Jessie Glova and his students.



"Satine Eclipse: Dark Fantasy" photo exhibit will run from October 24-31, 2009 featuring photographs of 9 talented members of CDP, Paul Gotiong, Johan Sisno, Neil Dy, Anne Lorainne Uy, Anchela Yap, Jade Saducas, Paul Banday, Gabe Hortelano and Lemuel Reyes.


Each of the photographers had been assigned 1 model to shoot and photographed the models in their assigned characters. Kat Ros of ABS CBN's KWK is Warrior Goddess and was photographed by Johan Sisno.



ABS CBN's Star Patroler Kara Mae Noveda modeled Alice in Wonderland and captured by Paul Gotiong. Fretzie Bercede was photographed by Gabe Hortelano as Queen of Hearts.

Joseph Teves photographed by Jade Saducas played Dark Mousy. Cara Cagulada modeled female Dante of Devil May Cry was phtographed by Anchela Yap.

Cheska Cagulada photographed by Anne Lorainne Uy played the character of Chun Li. Frances Young who played Chibimoon of Sailormoon was photographed by Neil Dy. Sheda Gabusas who played Tinkerbell was shot by Lemuel Reyes. ABS CBN's MBK host Cathy Aya-ay played Erd of AH My Goddess was shot by Paul Banday!

MTV Exit: The Philippine Tour- Cebu Leg

We are lucky to have the freedom of choosing who our friends are, where to work or whom to love. But some of us are not that fortunate. Hundreds of thousands of people in the world have been ripped off of these basic rights; quelched, smothered and suppressed to do various forms of labor and prostitution, modern day slaves and victims of Human Trafficking.

October 24, 2009, a collaboration of influential musicians have gathered to spread the awareness against human trafficking through songs for the "MTV Exit" campaign. Cebu Leg of MTV Exit Philippine tour was held at SM City Cebu Covered Parking Area, and is one of the events lined up by MTV to increase awareness on human traficking and put a stop in the increasing number of human traffickers in the world.


MTV Exit: The Philippine Tour - Cebu Leg was hosted by MTV VJ Sib. Performances by Shiela and the Insects, Urban Dub and Sandwich.





The free benefit concert was attended by mostly Generation Y peeps. Headbanging and literally shouting our lungs out was definitely gut-busting!


I myself had enjoyed the gig so much and I bet fellow bloggers Noelle and Jose did enjoy too! Fellow CBSers were also there to join in the fun!

Sports Illustrated's Jessica Gomes

It was hot hot Tuesday for me! Jessica Gomes, a Sports Illustrated model, is in Cebu! Raaaawr! A few minutes away from our house, I drove off to Imperial Palace which recently is a fave venue for Korean Music videos. Regina (CDN Writer), Natz (The Freeman Editor), Sir Jess & Sir Alex (Sunstar) and I (CDN Photographer) were there to meet her.

24 years old Jessica Gomes is Australian but is a progeny of a Singaporean mother and Portuguese father. 177cm in Height and weighs 50kgs, she has modeled for DKNY Jeans, Victoria Secret, Vogue, Levi's, Motorolla and Urban Outfitters. She also had modeled in Korea for Class 2X(Beer), LG Bikini Phone, Sonata Transform, Enprani(Cosmetic) and Buckaroo Jeans.

Philippine Blog Awards 09 (Visayas) was held at Cebu City Sports on October 18, 2009. It was a celebration of the best blogs in the Visayas.
