American Idol Season Finale

Another Season of American Idol has ended and Lee Dewyze emerged as the new American Idol! A bit predictable but it was still a great season, full of drama like Simon Cowell leaving the show.

Cebu was treated to a live telecast of American Idol Season Finale at Ayala Cinema 3 brought to us by Greenwich and Starworld! Prizes were raffled off including an ipod shuffle! wootwoot! Had great fun with friends and the rest of Cebu Bloggers.

May 1, 2010, Labor day! Cebu Bloggers Society's general assembly, renewal of membership and election of new set of 2010 CBS officers! Another year has past and Cebu Bloggers Society is getting better and stronger! Hurrah for us Cebu Bloggers! General Assembly would be at Parkmall from 5pm to 8pm!

PLDT MyDSL Speed Circuit Drifting Exhibition 2010

PLDT MyDSL brings champion drifter Alex Perez and celebrity drifter Ryan Agoncillo for the Speed Circuit Drifting Exhibition 2010 with them are Junior Drifter Gio and Female drifter Pia Boren! It was an exciting Sunday (April 11, 2010) for Cebuanos as BigSeed Media and PLDT MyDSL prepared a line up of drifting activities specially for the Cebuanos and some lucky people even got to ride in drift cars driven by Ryan, Gio and Alex!

And of course champion drifter Alex Perez showed off to Cebuanos his talents in drifting and had made fans in the process! \m/

Maribago Bluewater's New Seven

After a gloomy afternoon at BE Resorts Mactan, we then headed straight to another resort in Mactan Cebu, Maribago Bluewaters for the unveling of Maribago Bluewater's The New Seven!

Maribago's New Seven refers to the 7 dolphins of their new resort sculpture which was unveiled by guest of honor Secretary Ace Durano.

The event was attended by media from TV, newspaper and the web. Cebu Socialites were also there to grace the event.

Cocktails and firedancers were there to entertains resort guests and the media.

After the unveiling of New Seven, we then headed to Allegro Restaurant for a sumptuous dinner buffet! I love their lechon de leche and their Ube halaya! :)

I was invited to check out BE Resorts Mactan amenities and activities for an afternoon together with Cebu Bloggers Society Members. Arrived at BE Resorts Mactan at around 3:30pm and as I pass by the lobby I notice Cobonpue Furniture pieces combined with a modern ambiance. BE Resorts Mactan is a boutique hotel with hip and chic designs that exudes vibrant and young aura.



Though service is a little bit inferior, room rates here are for as low as 5,400PHP/120USD nett per night for Standard Rooms inclusive of breakfast and bottled water daily. Premium and Suite Rooms are for 6,400php and 7.900php respectively.
